The BCMW Community Services will be offering scholarships to students. They are $500 each and are due March 23rd. You must have financial need and turn in a completed application by the deadline. See below for an application.
The Illinois Lumber and Material Dealers Association Educational Foundation is offering a scholarship to seniors. The student must be pursuing industry related work at a college or university. It is valued at $500 - $1000 and is due March 16th. See Mrs. Branon for more information or click on the attachment below.
Kohls Scholarship Program is open to students ages 6 to 18 who have not yet graduated from high school. You must be nominated by someone 20 years of age or older. Nominations must be submitted before midnight on March 13th. This is based on volunteer actions in the past year. The Centralia Lady Elks Scholarship is now available. You must attend KC this fall to be eligible. Due April 15th. For more information, see the attachment below.
Webster University will be hosting a Junior Visit Day fro interested junior students on April 20 on the Webster University Campus. It runs from 8:30 - 1:30. Call (314)246-7800 to sign up.
The Beckemeyer American Legion will be awarding two $500 scholarships to first year college students. To be eligible, you must have a family member who is a member of a Beckemeyer Legion Organization (American Legion, Sons of the Legion, or Auxiliary). Clinton County Farm Bureau will be awarding scholarships to members or children of members. Applications, with a picture of the applicant, must be received at the Clinton County Farm Bureau Foundation Office by March 16th.
The Illinois Municipal Utilities and the City of Carlyle have announced the 2015 Scholarship Program. This is a $500 scholarship for students whose parents reside in the City of Carlyle and receive their electricity from the City. See below for the application. The due date is March 6th.
Clinton County Electric has a scholarship available at this time:
- LaVern and Nola McEntire Lineworker's Scholarship: Due April 30, 2015. Scholarships are awarded based on an essay, a biographical statement, and references. Student must be planning to attend LincolnLand Community College Electrical Lineman Program. For more info, click on the attachment below.
