BCMW Community Services will be awarding ten $500 scholarships. These scholarships are for low-income students in Bond, Clinton, Marion, and Washington Counties. They can be used at Illinois community colleges, trade schools, vocational schools, or 4 year universities. This is due March 24th.
The Clinton County Electric Scholarship is available. This is for any student whose parents are members of the Clinton County Electric Cooperative. This is due to Mrs. Branon by April 1st. See below for more information.
The Farm Bureau Scholarship is available to members or children of farm bureau members who are planning to major in an ag related field. March 17th is the due date. More information is below in the attachments.
The KC Fine Arts Scholarships are now available. These are for students interested in Speech, Theater, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Art and the Scroll newspaper. See below for an application.
There are scholarships available for seniors planning to go into Physical or Occupational Therapy. You can apply www.illinoiselksccc.org. The due date is March 7th. For more info, see attachment below.
The IMUA Scholarship is now available. This is a $500 scholarship open to seniors whose parents receive their electricity from the City of Carlyle. This is due March 7th. For more information, see the attachment below.
The La Vern and Nola McEntire Lineworker's Scholarship is now available. It is for students who are enrolled in lineworker's school through Lincoln Land College. It is valued at $1,500.00. The application is due on April 30, 2014. Applications can be obtained from http://www.eiec.org/community/scholarships/. The Abbott and Fenner Scholarship is now available. This is a $1000 scholarship that is due June 14th. You must write a 500-1000 word essay. Essay submissions should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and should include your full name and mailing address. More information is below.
