Registration for the 2013-2014 school year will be August 1st, 2013 in the Carlyle High School Library from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
Morning Arrivals When dropping off your child at school in the morning, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE FRONT (EAST) CIRCLE DRIVE. It is reserved for buses ONLY. Do NOT drop off your child behind the cafeteria. This is a limited service road and is to be used ONLY by parents of PRE-K students. On or after 7:45a.m. PLEASE DROP YOUR CHILD OFF AT THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE SCHOOL, ON CLINTON ST heading WEST. From the south side, students can report to the gym, playground or the cafeteria for the breakfast program.
Afternoon Departures When picking up your child at the end of the school day, please park on the street or north parking lot.Both the East Circle Drive and Clinton St. (south side of the school) between 6th and 7th St. will be CLOSED for SCHOOL BUSES ONLY between 3:05p.m. and 3:20p.m.
Bus Notes Calls after 2:00p.m. requesting a transportation change may NOT be approved or granted unless a real emergency is identified. Your child will be placed on his or her regularly scheduled bus if we do not have a signed and dated note. If there is a change in after-school supervision for your child; have that person (grandparent, babysitter, and neighbor, relative): either pick up your child at the regular scheduled drop-off point or at school by 3:30p.m.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS MORNING ARRIVAL: Breakfast begins at 7:45 A.M. Town students, car riders, and walkers should not arrive at school before this time. TARDIES: In the event a child arrives after 8:00 A.M., they MUST be signed in by a parent. RECESS: Open-toed shoes or sandals (especially flip-flops), backless, or shoes with narrow or high heels are not conducive for school or playground safety and should not be worn at school. |
