• The following sports are offered at Carlyle CUSD # 1.


    Junior High

    Baseball and Softball are offered in the fall for students in grades 6 - 8. Tryouts start: August 2nd & 3rd 8:00 am

    Girls and Boys Basketball and Cheerleading are offered in the winter for students in grades 5 - 8.

    Girls Volleyball is offered in the spring for students in grades 5 - 8.

    High School

    Football Cheerleading, Coed Soccer, Football and Volleyball are offered in the fall for students in grades 9 - 12.

    Girls and Boys Basketball and Cheerleading are offered in the winter for students in grades 9 - 12.

    Baseball and Softball are offered in the spring for students in grades 9 - 12.



    * Any student interested in participating in athletics must have a physical
    on file in the office before he/she may participate in any practices or games. In addition each student athlete needs to complete the online registration on the 8 to 18 website (see directions below).  Athletic fees must be payed before the student can participate in any games.

     Athletes Advantage Sports Medicine 2018 Sports Physicals

    Athletes Advantage Sports Medicine will be offereing sports physicals free of charge to students entering 10th grade through 12th grade. Click on the link above for dates, locations and times.

  • Athletic Physical Examination

    You must annually have placed on file with your principal/official representative a certificate of physical fitness, signed by a licensed physician, physician’s assistant or nurse practioner in order to practice or participate. Your physical examination is good for 395 days from the date of the exam. The physician’s report must be on file with your high school principal/official representative.
