Carlyle High School seniors received their schedule for final exams and other important

year-end dates last week.

There are fourAdvanced Placement (AP) exams that will be given in May. The AP

Government class will take their exam on May 6. On May 7, AP Literature students will take

their exam. On May 9, AP U.S. History students will take their exam, and the AP Calculus exam

will be given on May 12.

The first day of senior exams is May 12, and seniors will take exams for their first three

periods that day. Exams for fourth, fifth, and sixth period will be given on May 13. On the last

day of senior attendance, May 14, seniors will take exams for seventh and eighth periods.

Not all seniors have to take exams. If a student has a B+ or better in the class and no

unexcused absences, then they do not have to take the final for that class.

Honors Night is scheduled for May 12 at 7 p.m. in the Carlyle High School gym.

Students who are receiving awards and scholarships will be honored during this event, and

formal photos will be taken by Traditions Portrait Designs.

Graduation practice is scheduled for May 16 at 9 a.m. in the high school gym. Seniors

will also walk through Carlyle Grade School after practice.

Graduation will take place on May 18 at 2 p.m. in the high school gym.

Exams for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be given on May 21-23.
