Carlyle School District will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 31st. Though the main roads are mostly clear, the side roads and rural roads are still mostly ice covered. With the low temperatures expected overnight and, in the morning, I don't see these conditions improving. Stay safe and hopefully we will see everyone on Wednesday.

Anyone who placed an order through the AVH Spirit Wear order can pick up orders tonight (10/20) from 4:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in the Jr. High Cafeteria (during Parent/Teacher Conference times). We will have a 2nd pick up time next Tuesday (Oct. 25th) same time and location (4:30-7:00, Jr. High Cafeteria). The pick-ups will be for all orders. Thank you to all those who ordered! This message is mainly for Grade School families, but we wanted to make sure everyone has the information. Due to a water main break in front of the Grade School, 6th Street and the circle drive at the Grade School will be closed tomorrow, Monday, Oct 17th . It will remain closed until the leak can be repaired. As a result, we will need to change our arrival, dismissal and parking process around the Grade School campus (All walkers and parent pick-ups will be dismissed at 2:50 p.m.). Dear Carlyle Families,
I’m sure you are all aware of the devastation that Hurricane Ian left behind in parts of Florida. We have a former Carlyle graduate that now lives in Ft. Myers, FL. She is a counselor at Lexington Middle School. They are looking for monetary donations to help with the students that attend their school. The CUSD #1 family would like to show our support by having a hat day district wide this Friday, October 14th. If you want to wear a hat, please bring in a $1. This will help to support her school in the ways they feel necessary.
