Carlyle Elementary School is honored to share that we have been recognized as an “Exemplary School” by the Illinois State Board of Education for the 6th year in a row! This recognition is one that we wear proudly at CGS. In order to be awarded this reputable achievement, the overall school body is held to the highest of standards when regards to its environment in classrooms and its community with one another. We take pride in our students’ academic successes. We thank every student who has graced our halls for all their hard work and their commitment they show day-in and day-out. Our dedicated teachers and staff are also a key factor in this rating. Their tremendous support and passion to raise up our students and push them onto greater heights has made a lasting impact on students' academic careers. Together as one, our school body creates an exemplary environment that displays the ultimate Indian PRIDE! We are also thankful for every parent, guardian, and community member who has supported our students throughout each school year. Without your confidence in this school community, we’d not have the pleasure of being awarded this rating. Thank you for trusting us to care for each and every student who steps through our thresholds. We see their uniqueness and their potential and have the great mission of pushing them to success. Our motto, “Challenging all to learn, Expecting all to achieve,” is what we are proud to stand on and continue to cultivate in our school. Thank you for your support and always showing your Indian Pride! #prideinthetribe

CHS Student Council will be trick or treating for canned goods! We will go door to door during normal trick or treating time to collect the cans. If you live somewhere where trick or treaters don’t come, or you do not want to turn your light on, you can drop them off at CHS.
