Thank you to all of the parents that donated items to help Ms. Ettleman's class celebrate the holidays! We had a Grinch rotation day, Polar Express day, as well as our Christmas party! It was a very fun and festive few days!

Third grade has enjoyed learning about Christmas Around the World! Today we made South African Christmas Crackers to take home! We paused for pictures in front of our German Christmas trees and poinsettias from Mexico.

2nd grade loved having players from the girl's basketball team read to them last week! 🏀
2nd grade has been busy learning about the properties of matter! We have explored buoyancy, flexibility, hardness, magnetism, and much more! Today, they were challenged to change the properties of flexible paper to make different towers. We have quite the class of engineers!
Last Friday we sold teal glow necklaces and bracelets to raise money for a former Carlyle graduate who is battling cancer. All our proceeds went to Alexis Tehandon. Her family came by to receive $400 that our CGS families donated!!! Keep fighting Alexis!!!
