Carlyle Grade School sold popsicles at lunch yesterday to raise money for Jamie Diekemper and her family. Jamie has been battling through cancer. CGS students raised $800 for her family. No Tribe member should battle this disease alone.
These two fabulous students earned our TRIBE Award this week for being kind and responsible to other's things!! We are so proud of both of you!!
Happy Leap Day! from Mrs. Edwards' Kindergarten Class! We had a fun day learning that the next leap year will not be until we are in 4th grade, made a hat, read a book about why there is a leap year, measured how far we can leap, and played lots of games with hopping frogs!

You can help the cause by giving a dollar. This will allow your student to receive a POPsicle during their lunch. Limit one popsicle per person. Any additional money brought in will be considered as a donation.

CGS welcomed the N. E. D. Show to our school today. They talked to our students about never giving up and you can tackle anything life presents to you!! Th students loved the yo yo's and magic tricks. We will be selling the yo yo's next week.

Happy Valentine's Day from Mrs.Edwards kindergarten class! We had a great day with lots of fun activities! We stacked with hearts, shot cupid's arrows with straws, ate ice cream and the high school choir sang love telegrams to us! Thanks parents for all the supplies!

ROE 13 put on the Brain Games competition today down at Rend Lake College. These four amazing students competed for Carlyle Grade School. They came back as Champions!!! They finished 1st place!!! We are SO proud of them!!!! Way to Go!!!!
