On Monday, March 13, 2023 at 7:00 PM we will host the winter sports athletic recognition night for all 2022-2023 winter athletes at Carlyle High School. We will all meet together at 7:00 PM in the Gymnasium to present special awards. After all special awards are presented, we will break up into groups so each coach can talk in depth about his/her respective season and pass out letters and certificates. All winter athletes and his/her parents are invited and encouraged to attend. Refreshments (bottled water and cookies) will be available.
Students in Life Skills class made French Bread pizzas. They had a lot of fun and all agreed they tasted great!

Carlyle Indians Track & Field will be having an informational meeting for any 5th-12th grade students interested in joining the Track & Field High School or Jr. High teams on Monday February 27th at 6:30 PM in the Carlyle High School cafeteria. The first practice will held Tuesday February 28th after school. Anyone can join even if they didn't sign up for the team.

Tamra Gerstenecker learns of her Golden Owl Award status during a surprise assembly on Feb. 23. The Carlyle agriculture teacher and FFA adviser was recognized as an outstanding agriculture teacher due to her work in preparing the next generation of young people for successful careers in agriculture. The award was sponsored by Nationwide Insurance and Illinois Farm Credit and was presented by Illinois State FFA Vice President Derek Sample, FFA District 5 FCAE Program Adviser Casey Bolin, and Julie Lutz-Birk from the Lutz Agency Inc in Nashville.

The first 25 students signed up will ride the bus for free (thank you Dan Rosen - State Farm Insurance for covering the bus cost for the first 25 students). The total cost will be $10.00/student (fan bus $3 and the game ticket $7). Let's go cheer on the Lady Indians!
