Students in CHS Life Skills class went to Central High School to tour The Common Grounds cafe run by Central's FLS program. They learned about different jobs at the cafe and even got to sample some drinks and snacks while socializing. Thank you Central FLS students and staff!

Fall Sports Athletic Recognition Night On Monday, November 14th at 7:30 PM we will host the fall sports athletic recognition night for all 2022 fall athletes at Carlyle High School. We will recognize athletes in the following sports: soccer, volleyball, football, football cheerleading, boys & girls golf and swimming. We will all meet together at 7:30 PM in Harriss Gymnasium to present special awards. After all special awards are presented, we will break up into groups so each coach can talk in depth about his/her respective season and pass out letters and certificates. All fall athletes and his/her parents are invited and encouraged to attend.

The Carlyle Lady Indians volleyball team will play in the IHSA sectional on Monday, October 31st at Trico. Below are the links for the digital tickets through GoFan. Monday, Game 1 - Valmeyer vs. Goreville Monday, Game 2 - Trico vs. Carlyle Wednesday, Game 3 - Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 Carlyle High School students that want to ride the Fan Bus (5:00 pm departure) must sign up in the high school office prior to noon on Monday, October 31st. Fan bus cost is $3.00/student and you must purchase your $6.00 ticket for the match on the GoFan app. We must have 25 students signed up in order to take a bus. Go Lady Indians!

We are hosting our first paint party of the year this Thursday, October 27th! Join us to paint a pumpkin inspired by the artist Yayoi Kusama from 4-6pm in the CHS cafeteria. 🎃 To register, please message Miss Emily Minton at or via the Carlyle Art Club facebook page. Cost is $20 per person and will include a 12x12” canvas, paint & all other necessary supplies, as well as light refreshments. Registration for this event will be limited to 35 participants. Hello Parents! Students are getting ready for Red Ribbon Week 2022 beginning this Friday. This year's theme is : Celebrate Life, Live Drug Free. At school, students will engage in activities that promote a drug free and healthy lifestyle. Please partner with us and discuss this message at home, at the dinner table, at family outings, and with friends and extended family. Ask your student to show you the flyer he/she received from school about Red Ribbon Week in partnership with the Take Action Coalition of Clinton County. Please take time each evening, maybe during your supper time, to talk about the tip of the day with your student. Students will be participating in dress up days from Friday October 21st thru Thursday October 27th. Friday- Wear as much red as possible, Monday- Wear mismatched clothes (crazy day) , Tuesday- Favorite Pajama Day (school appropriate), Wednesday- Favorite team jersey or shirt, Thursday- Super hero wear your favorite super hero t-shirt.
