Carlyle will play Pinckneyville on Wednesday, February 21st at 8:00 pm at the Breese Central Regional. All tickets are $5.00 and are general admission. Due to the large crowds expected on Wednesday, fans are highly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Wednesday night's games will be two separate admission games. Please don't arrive early unless you have a ticket for game 1. Advance tickets may be purchased in the Carlyle High School office today between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm and on Wednesday morning prior to 9:00 am.

A parade through town for our State Champion Preston Waughtel and State Runner Tyson Waughtel up will start at the high school at 2pm and take the normal route through town. Let's line the streets and show this young man how proud our community is of him. Parade Route: Start at high school, head south on 127 to Fairfax. Head east on Fairfax to 8th street. Turn right on 8th to Rt 50. Head west on Rt 50 to 4 way stop. Then head back north on 127 to high school.

Boys Post Season
Students in Life Skills class took a trip to Hazlet Park to hike the Cherokee Trail. Students observed wildlife including deer, birds, and several friendly dogs. Students also learned about plant life, fungi, and differences in temperature. It was a fun and educational afternoon.

Students in Life Skills class visited Oh So Sweet Bakery and Cafe in Carlyle. Students got to practice ordering on a budget. Thank you Oh So Sweet for your hospitality and the baked treats! The students enjoyed them and we can't wait to visit again!
