Carlyle High School students that want to ride the Fan Bus (5:00 pm departure) must sign up in the high school office prior to noon on Monday, October 31st. Fan bus cost is $3.00/student and you must purchase your $6.00 ticket for the match on the GoFan app. We must have 25 students signed up in order to take a bus.

On November 5th Olivia Jansen will be representing Carlyle High School at the IHSA Swim Sectionals. She will be swimming the 500 Yard Freestyle and the 100 Yard Breast stroke. Good Luck Olivia.

We are hosting our first paint party of the year this Thursday, October 27th! Join us to paint a pumpkin inspired by the artist Yayoi Kusama from 4-6pm in the CHS cafeteria. 🎃

Cost is $20 per person and will include a 12x12” canvas, paint & all other necessary supplies, as well as light refreshments.

Anyone who placed an order through the AVH Spirit Wear order can pick up orders tonight (10/20) from 4:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in the Jr. High Cafeteria (during Parent/Teacher Conference times). We will have a 2nd pick up time next Tuesday (Oct. 25th) same time and location (4:30-7:00, Jr. High Cafeteria). The pick-ups will be for all orders. Thank you to all those who ordered! Hello Parents! Students are getting ready for Red Ribbon Week 2022 beginning this Friday. This year's theme is : Celebrate Life, Live Drug Free. At school, students will engage in activities that promote a drug free and healthy lifestyle. Please partner with us and discuss this message at home, at the dinner table, at family outings, and with friends and extended family. Ask your student to show you the flyer he/she received from school about Red Ribbon Week in partnership with the Take Action Coalition of Clinton County. Please take time each evening, maybe during your supper time, to talk about the tip of the day with your student. Students will be participating in dress up days from Friday October 21st thru Thursday October 27th. Friday- Wear as much red as possible, Monday- Wear mismatched clothes (crazy day) , Tuesday- Favorite Pajama Day (school appropriate), Wednesday- Favorite team jersey or shirt, Thursday- Super hero wear your favorite super hero t-shirt.

Directions to the Waterloo Gibault Volleyball Regional: Road construction on the west side of Gibault high school has traffic bottled up. You can only access the high school gymnasium parking lot by exiting Route 3 onto N. Moore Street. All other ways are blocked.


Update on AVH Spirit Wear Orders- We received the order today. We are currently in the process of sorting it and organizing for pick-up. We will have pick-up information posted soon...so please stay tuned

Congratulations to 2022-2023 CHS Spanish National Honor Society!




Congratulations to Miley Golder, Malikai Salyers, Katelynn Glasscock, and Olivia Rainey on earning a Certificate of Mastery in Microsoft Word in their Computer Concepts Class! To earn the certificate, these students showed proficiency in formatting, managing tables and lists, and using advanced Word features. Great job!


Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on October 20 and October 25 from 4:00-7:30. If you are interested in meeting with your child's teacher(s) you can call the High School at 594-2453 to schedule a time or you can reach out to their teachers via email that can be found on the school website.

This message is mainly for Grade School families, but we wanted to make sure everyone has the information. Due to a water main break in front of the Grade School, 6th Street and the circle drive at the Grade School will be closed tomorrow, Monday, Oct 17th . It will remain closed until the leak can be repaired. As a result, we will need to change our arrival, dismissal and parking process around the Grade School campus (All walkers and parent pick-ups will be dismissed at 2:50 p.m.). Carlyle High School will be hosting a blood drive on Friday October 14 in the CHS gym from 8:30 - 1:30.
