CJHS thoroughly enjoyed the animal presentation from Mr. Bob Tarter and the National History Educational Company of the Mid-South. There were a few scares, but mostly laughs. Thank you Bob!
Carlyle High School Football will be hosting a camp for all students entering grades 5-8 from Monday, July 22nd - Wednesday, July 24th. The cost is $40 per camper. Sign ups & money are due by May 17th to ensure campers get a shirt. Forms and money can be turned in to the Grade school, Junior high or High school offices.

Ms. Evans’s 8th graders were presented with a challenge to build a landing pad to keep their egg from cracking when dropped from 2m! We have only 4 survivors!
5th graders are at it again. Ms. Evans saved the best labs for the end of the year! Chemical reactions this time!!!

CJHS students in all grades will be taking the state-mandated IAR test today-Thursday. Students in 5th and 8th grade will be taking the IL Science Assessment starting on April 23rd.

Last night CJHS hosted the Clinton County Music Festival in the CJHS Gymnasium. Students were hand selected from music programs throughout Clinton County and spent several hours preparing for the event. Nearly 180 students participated.
